Christ Mission College’s Accreditation Status

In acknowledgement of a satisfactory institutional self-study and evaluation team visit, Christ Mission College (CMC) was granted candidate status by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) Commission on Accreditation through 2021. ABHE is a national accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education [5850 T.G. Strategic Goals and Prioritization for CMC 2015-2020 [reviewed and edited July 2018]

aPropagate a culture of Christ-centered life and mission by promoting a movement of prayer and discipleship for our generation and our nation

b-Strengthen the recruiting/enrollment capacity of CMC by continually strengthening and implementing the enrollment management plan in a coordinated effort between participating offices and increase student marketing by utilizing redefined mission and message at Candidate Status with Title IV federal grant funding to draw new studentsfrom the San Antonio area 

c-Create and strengthen income streams including reserve fund capacities by utilizing redefined mission and message at Candidate Status with Title IV federal grant funding, Master Plan development, institutional loan(s), major donors, and increased enrollment income to support the Campus Revitalization Plan which include life safety and ADA compliance regulations

d– Facilitate and resource the Finance Office by upgrading to an ABHE and Title IV qualified external audito

e-Expand and strengthen Student Ministries including the integration of the Church Involvement and Internship components of the Co-Curricular Program

f-Support the Library with qualified personnel through continued employment of both a part-time MSLS degreed Librarian and the continued training/education of a full-time Library Technician
